The current situation for many refugees is challenging. Federal funding cuts have left families without the critical support they were promised during their initial resettlement period. This leaves vulnerable families, including persecuted Christians, facing immense hardship and uncertainty.
While we continue to advocate for policy changes and mobilize community support through volunteering and giving, it’s crucial to remember that our hope ultimately rests in God. Prayer is the most important thing we can do.

In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.
Your politicians are like wolves prowling and killing and rapaciously taking whatever they want. Your preachers cover up for the politicians by pretending to have received visions and special revelations… Extortion is rife, robbery is epidemic, the poor and needy are abused, outsiders are kicked around at will, with no access to justice.
I looked for someone to stand up for me against all this, to repair the defenses of the city, to take a stand for me and stand in the gap to protect this land… I couldn’t find anyone. Not one…
His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Pay close attention now;
I’m creating new heavens and a new earth.
All the earlier troubles, chaos, and pain
Are things of the past, to be forgotten.
Look ahead with joy.
Anticipate what I’m creating:
I’ll create Jerusalem as sheer joy,
Take delight in my people:
No more sounds of weeping in the city;
No cries of anguish…
Many nations will come and say:
Let us go up to the house of the Lord…
He will teach us to walk in his ways,
So that we may walk in his paths.
…He will judge between nations…
They will beat swords into ploughshares
And their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation
Nor will they train for war anymore…
Everyone will sit under their own vine
And no one will make them afraid,
For the Lord Almighty has spoken.
There is strength to be found in these promises, as we stand together trusting in God’s sovereignty constantly abiding in His love. Thank you for continuing to advocate with us for justice and compassion. We know that God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
